RENTAL AGREEMENT

  1. I accept for use as is the equipment on this form, and accept full responsibility for the use of the equipment while it is in my possession.
  2. I will be responsible for the replacement at full retail value of any equipment rented under this agreement form, but not returned to the shop. I agree to reimburse and hold harmless the ski shop for any loss or damage of any kind, other than reasonable wear and tear that results from the use of this equipment. I agree to return all rental equipment by the agreed date in clean condition to avoid any additional charges.
  3. The user of this equipment assumes and understand that skiing and/or snowboarding is a hazardous sport, and that bare spots, variations in snow, ice and terrain, along with bumps, stumps, and forest growth and debris and rocks and many other hazards or obstacles exist within this ski area. In using the equipment and skiing at the area, such dangers are accepted whether they are marked or unmarked.
    The skier/snowboarder realizes that falls and collisions do occur and injuries may result and, therefore, assumes the burden of skiing and or riding under control at all times.
  4. I understand that the ski-boot-binding system will not release at all times or under all circumstances, nor is it possible to predict every situation in which it will release, and is therefore no guarantee of my safety.
  5. I understand the snowboard-boot-binding system is a non-releasable system and agree to use it and the safety leash in its intended manner to help reduce the possibility of injury to myself and others.
  6. I hereby release the ski shop and its owner, agents, and employees from any and all liabilities for damage and injury to myself or to any other person or property resulting from negligence, the selection, adjustment and use of this equipment, accepting myself the full responsibility for any and all such damage or injury that may result.
  7. I have made no misrepresentation to the ski shop in regard to my height, weight, age or skiing ability.
  8. I verify that the visual indicators on my bindings correspond to the setting as shown on this rental agreement form.
  9. All instructions on the use of my rental equipment have been made clear to me, and I understand the function of my equipment.
