With over 16” of new snow overnight and throughout today combined, the powder on the mountain was absolutely incredible today ❄️

First and foremost HUGE thanks to our staff across the mountain from ski patrol, lift OPs, snow cat/mountain operations, food and beverage, and everyone in between who worked so hard to pull off a great powder day today!!

The heavy snow caused some instability with the main power grid, which fluctuated throughout the day today.

Ultimately our team switched to auxiliary backup power to keep the lifts running. By mid-afternoon, we made the decision to close the backside lifts while continuing to operate the front side lifts on backup power for the remainder of the day.

We are hopeful the main grid power will be fully restored for tomorrow. Front side lifts will be running tomorrow, and backside lift operations will depend on the main grid power being restored.

We’re stoked for tomorrow and an epic weekend and will update tomorrow morning with power and lift operation updates.
