Merry Christmas from all of us at Discovery Ski Area.  While it has been a challenging start to the season we are really happy to be able to provide some skiing terrain for everyone over the holidays.  The Jubilee and Easy Chairlifts will be open every day through to the New Year and while we do have lots of thin cover, the terrain park is shaping up into mid season form with a variety of rails and jumps to play on.  Even though we won’t be skiing steeps and powder, this will be a good week to ski with your loved ones, get your kids out on snow and play in the terrain park.  See below for our map of terrain open this week and we hope to see you on the snow.

We are excited to announce we will have our Jubilee lift open on Dec 16 and 17. While we are still low on snow, we have had a good week of snowmaking allowing us to get our terrain park on Sapphire is great shape for this weekend. We will also have the trails Jubilee and Gold Bug open. The coverage is thin so please ski with caution. The Tap ‘r Lite Bar will be showing the Griz v NDSU football game Saturday at 2:30 pm.

Discovery will close on Monday Dec 18 before re-opening on our 7 day a week schedule on Dec 21. Tickets are currently discounted to $35 for adults and $22 for children. You can see the map below for this weekends open terrain. Keep thinking snow!
